Here I'm revisiting the standoff concept where each layer is separated by a gap and held in place by threaded hardware. I love how they turned out. The first nine are wood tones, with the front layer stained dark brown and the rest of the layers unstained. You would never guess this looking at them - the unstained layers look progressively darker due to the shadows of the other layers.

Art Festival Booth

To sell work at an art festival, artists have to apply to the event with images of their work and their booth. I bought some supplies, set up, and took this booth shot. I designed and built the coaster displays in the front of the booth to hold and display 96 coasters.

Rectangles! I've been making a lot of round pieces and decided it was time to play with other shapes. It's funny how refreshing it is to see the work in rectangular form after all the round pieces.
